Hello,
I just wanted alittle advice.. Without going into huge detail, I only worked 3 days in 06-07 tax period which I declared to the tax credit agency(no P60)as my income for the year, this year my P60 (07-08) includes this same amount, am I allowed to deduct this off the P60 amount and declare the rest as my income (I have an email to back it up from my payroll), otherwise I would be double declaring it. Its only a small amount but it could make a massive difference.
Appreciate any advice..

Hi ustouk
Welcome, why does your 06/07 earning appear on your 07/08 P60. The fact that you declared to the TCO in the year will be negated by the P60 from that year (ie it won't show it) this should lead to an adjustment on 06/07 TC award (probably insignificant). It basically means you will have estimated a slightly higher wage than you actually received in 06/07.
It is now being shown on your P60 for 07/08 and will be included in that current tax year and will reflect on your TC award for 07/08.
Hope that helps, keep checking in, I'm sure others will post.
