Hi all, been studying forum for a while, and now need its help.... three years ago i had an overpayment of around £1300 which i did not know how to dispute so this took me 2 years to pay off... turned out this was when the computers messed up and everyone was "overpaid".

I have now received another "overpayment" of £1100.00, they say this was because they had not received proof of earnings in 2006 when i stopped claiming... I sent everything back ... I did not receive a letter stating that this had not been received as they sent all correspondence to a previous address when they knew my current address... so i had no chance to forward the details again.

I will take this all the way with them as im annoyed by their actions.. i have sent the first letter as this site showed me and requested all data to be forwarded, together with all conversations which were recorded... I received a wad of papers which make no sence to me.. no cd.. this is "to follow", the 40 days is up for this request now what shall I do...

Advice would be so grateful as i will take this as far as i can even go to the lengths of standing on parliment buildings shouting the injustice (you get my drift) thanks to all

Hello
I told tax credits office of a change of address several times and they took forever to actually do it. Even when I got married I was still receiving correspondence in my maiden name after phoning them repeatedly. They are this crap with evryone so take heart!!!There are people on here who are good at deciphering illegible sarn documentation and the phone calls genrally arrive months after the paperwork so don't be disheartened . The proof will be in there somewhere so keep looking. It took me 2 and a half years though so stay strong and fight hard!!
