Thank you so very very much. The time and effort you all put into my questions and others is so appreciated. Without your help I wouldn't have the strength to keep fighting. So thank you all very much indeed x x

Aye, he's a bit busy right now trying to decide what to do about his Home Seretary who's been caught with her fingers in the till - again!!

Too true Alan... ha ha. Got my Queen reply letter today too... Thanks me for writing and the Queen has taken careful notes of my comments... the letter has been passed to The Right Honourable James Purnell MP, Sec of state for work and pensions so he knows I have approached The Queen on this matter and so he can consider the points I have raised... we'll see eh. But until I receive both replies I am still in Disupte. Cheers all x

Very well done Shelley.

The more people who we can involve in this battle the better - and that includes Her Maj.

Update: My MP received a letter from HMRC CSSG, April 09 in response to the letter he sent to them in Dec 08! They state that I have to pay the amounts as I failed to meet COP 26, and gave an explanation. They also said that althought the staff gave me ill advice they weren't responsible for the overpayment happening! But if the staff had given me the correct advice then surely I wouldn't be in this position? They have now decided I didnt give in my fig in time and this resulted in the over payment. But then they tell me that after they had terminated my claim because of this delay, that when I disputed it complaining as self employment figs weren't ready they agreed with my complaint and allowed the claim to be restored, so they in fact allowed this to happen. But because of a computer glitch it took 2 months to restore this, and in the mean time I was adviced by an advisor to start a new claim as the old one was terminated! so when the restored claim started again I then had 2 live claims.... but I was never explained that my claim was restored, and because I had 3 summaries sent in 4 days of each other I just presumed that was now sorted.. well it wasn't.I then had 2 lots of paperwork to reply to to 2 a terminated claim and a live claim. This was never explained to me, and again I have proof of this. I was advised to start a new claim as my old one was terminated. It surely can't be my fault of a PC glitch which resulted in a 2 month wait to restore, which then caused an overlap of claims. Plus the staff should have told me that I would have to respond to 2 sepertate claims paperworks, where as I thought when terminated it was ended, plus when the summary came with the dispute summary.. it just said "the results of your dispute!" no explanation, nothing! so 2 days before that I received another summary which I replied to,so when 2 days after that I received another one I thought it was just their reply to the one I had sent previously. The forms, when sent in bulk like that are very compicated to understand!!
I have since Dec08 received my SARN and have sent in March09 a 2 sided A4 paper of things which weren't correct, and I have now sent my reply to the last letter to my MP.
The letter that they sent was just COP26 this and COP26 that! well COP26, they asked me for repayment 3 times whilst I was in dispute, I have written and CD proof... surely that is a breach of their beloved COP26! Plus I was told by a member of said CSSG, that my overpayment was caused by me telling them I had spilt with my husband, which I have proof which suggests otherwise, so does anyone know an answer to this OP? I have been told 3 separate things now.
There are 5 drop down boxes ticked on my printouts to suggest household breakdown was used.
So I await yet again. The Queen representative sent my letter to the Sec of treasury, and until I receive a letter from Jamed Purnell and this dept I will continue to be in dispute!

It's than man again!!

He's the one who leaves documents containing peoples personal details lying on railway carriage seats and then denies - initially anyway - that he's lost them!

He's also the man who my MP has been talking to regarding an issue that I'm haveing with the Dept. of Work & Pensions right now and - you've guessed it - I'm waiting to hear from!!

Until the MPs pay back "accidental" claims and claimed for things by "accident" I will continue to fight my case. Afterall I gave in figs and claimed for things as i thought correct.... who's to say I didn't ask for claims by accident in the same way these MP's claimed for a swimming pool and Plasma TV. They say they are not going to pay back as far as they were concerned they had done nothing wrong. Well that is exactly how I feel! But have they had nasty bullying repayment letters and have they had the bailiffs in to get back the monies. I say NOT! If normal humble folk like us on here had done what they have done then we would have the fraud squad in and bailiffs... they just get a slap wrist and then tell us all they weren't doing anything wrong and it was all an accident. I rest my case!

Just an update. I have had a reply from CSSG saying I still have to pay back this overpayment. This is after involvement from my MP too. It seems that any new evidence I have sent has just been brushed to one side, and any replies I am getting back from them are all the same template letters!I am so deflated by this and so low. So even with my MP involvement I have had no joy! I am now in the process of the next step, the adjudicator. I have to try. Thanks
