We got those b@stards at HMRC, yes yes yes yeeeeeessss.
Sorry excited i guess, had a phone call from a man called Andy From HMRC Tax Credits, he deals with investigating during a dispute.
Well he found that they had made error after error in our case. That in fact they did not do their jobs properly and that they had sent letters to my old address about the new joint claim we had made in May but we didn't respond because we didn't live their anymore.
He said that HMRC are at fault and he said that me and my husband had done everything possible for a claimant to do and the fault is not ours.
I asked for it to be in writing as i had heard people having their debts written off on the phone before and still getting demands for money.
He agreed to Send it in writing, I hope this Andy fellow is honest and says what he means.
I'm going to faint now, I need a drink hahaha
Yeay....

Well done, Rachel, for getting this sorted! Please let PJ know the sums involved as she has been keeping a tally of successful cases that we know about (of course, there are lots of people who just dip into our website and forum to quietly view the information and discussions, using it - we hope - to strengthen their own arguments and win their cases, that do not make direct contact and we never get to hear about); she is also keeping notes on the sums involved.

As Smudge says, "Power to the People!".

We will only be mistreated if we allow it to happen. We don't have to allow this, and ultimately it is us who vote our politicians in. It will be us pruning out the dead wood at the next election.

Trinity: No one has ever done anything like this.
Neo: That's why it's going to work.
