This has to be the most weird and grisly tax credit fraud story I have heard, but the judge's comments were very apt:

She also condemned the ease with which Fakorede had been able to carry out the fraud.

"I would like to express concern about a benefits system that allows any bank account irrespective of the identity of the holder to receive payments on other people's claims. It seems to me that such a system is an easy target for organised criminal gangs. It is the opinion of this court that the system should be reviewed."

Far from than the 'victim-blaming' view that tax credit overpayment victims are fraudsters or bunglers, this article shows that it is the innocent who are being hurt when their claims are hijacked and payments sent - without proper checks - to a criminal's account.

It just shows the incompetence off the HMRC, if someone like her can steal nearly 1 million pounds, and how long was she making these false claims to get that much?? shows what criminals can do, and with the HMRC loosing millions of peoples details, or sending them to other peoples addresses, shows again their utter incompetetence

The truth is out there.. GO get it......Non Illigitamus Carborundum
