EDS pays 71m to settle tax credit fiasco

Basically, HMRC has been compensated for the faulty computer system which overpaid us. The double-standards here are incredible. HMRC gets compensation - we don't! And meanwhile, with its pockets stuffed with EDS systems cash, HMRC is mugging us for the overpayments created by HMRC AND EDS, wanting this repaid a second time from ordinary, honest, decent families who simply do not have the money!

I don't know if you are okay with that, but I certainly am not! This is certainly one to write to Gordon Brown, Stephen Timms and our MPs about!

You don't have to be the world's best letter-writer! The best effect will come from the most voices, with everyone using their own words. Please let's show Brown that we are aware of what is going on, and we are not prepared to see HMRC "compensated" whilst we are financially ruined! Especially not to bail out this bunch of brigands!

Trinity: No one has ever done anything like this.
Neo: That's why it's going to work.
