With Labour's support and finances falling to pieces, there must surely come a time when Ministers are prepared to listen to grubby, ordinary folk?

Prophet of economic gloom, Alistair Darling, is set for a summer in his bunker
The downturn in the economy could last for years rather than months, says the Chancellor

...“My judgment at the moment is that there are a lot of people in this country who feel they work hard, they make their contribution and they’re feeling squeezed....Every Chancellor has to be very conscious that there is a balance to be struck between how much you can spend and how much people will say, ‘OK if you’ ve got another pound to spend remember me as well’.”

Time to remind Mr Darling that we are feeling somewhat squeezed, if not throttled?

The papers are full of stories about crumbling Labour and just as the Conservatives were pretending to support Thatcher whilst biding their time to oust her, we all know the same is happening with Brown.

Nu Labour rank and file seem able to link Brown's unpopularity with his disdain for ordinary people and how the poor are getting poorer, taxes are rising, and the cost of living has way exceeded any pay or benefit rises, but they have yet to make the connection between tax credit justice and votes.

They don't seem over-bright so we will have to spell this one out for them.

Can we, please?

If policians waken to the fact that we will vote for them if they sort out this mess, then we will see proper reform of the system which is killing us off.

Thanks. Use your tax credit grievances to mention Tax Credit Casualties and that your vote for them depends on getting justice.
