We would like to work with as many third sector and community groups and organisations as possible in order to spread the word that there is help and support available to those experiencing problems with tax credits.

Please help us by introducing yourself and your organisation here so that we can contact you with information updates.

Many forum members experience a range of problems as a result of tax credit problems and need support, guidance and advice on a range of issues that your organisation may be able to help with. Hello

My name Jess and I have recently become involved with Tax Credit Casualties as their 3rd Sector Liaison officer in support of the founding team members, and the “behind the scenes” volunteers such as the Webmaster and Forum Co-ordinators.

I will be the main point of contact for www.taxcc.org for all voluntary and community sector organisations, and plan to develop not only existing relationships but to build new ones with other 3rd sector organisations.

I have a background in youth and community work and have worked in both the public and voluntary sectors, predominantly supporting young people and disadvantaged community groups, both in a hands-on role, and in a networking role, to develop partnership working in order to access hard to reach groups, to share resources, and to raise awareness of services offered. I would be looking to work in a similar way with your organisation, in order to share skills, experience and resources, whilst offering a “signposting” and reciprocal support service.

It would be helpful if you could let me know some background information about your organisation and your role within that organisation, together with up to date contact details and an alternative named contact for your organisation should you become unavailable or move on. It would also be useful to know how much involvement you have previously had with Tax Credit Casualties, and how you think we may be able to work together in the future.

Please contact me for more information or to discuss ideas either by posting here or email jess@taxcc.org

Looking forward to working with you
Jess
