Got my CD today with phone calls on....2. One call made in 2004 and one made in 2006. The 2006 one was to tell them again, after several letters that I had started a new job.
The one in 2004 was my wife ringing to say she had received payments that she did'nt think we were entitled to and would we have to pay back any money. The answer from what we can make out as it is very poor quality was, if you owe us anything, we will take it from your new claim and then you will recieve the balance.
No other calls are recorded, but we have made notes of when we rang and who we spoke to, so as we already know, not all calls were recorded.
There are also some letters we sent that aren't included in the 200+ pages of documents we sent!
Still awaiting answers to questions I asked back in April!! My MP has contacted them and I await his reply.
When I wrote to complain using the template letter in August I got a reply from the "Higher Customer Support Manager" we started, "Thank you for your query... and finished with "we hope to contact you by 16th September" They got an immediate reply from me stating it was not a query but a complaint and by the 16th September I will have been waiting 5 months for information. I wonder what will be in the post tommorow!!!
Once again, thanks to everyone on the site who offers advice and keps me wanting to fight

Hi Smudge..

yes.. get in touch, and ask where your recordings are, as all calls are recorded, so should be available.but as we know, the HMRC dont like giving you the calls, that prove them to be wrong.they seem to get lost, my sarn declaration had a list and recording details of my calls, so i simply gave them the date and recorder information..then if by a miracle, my lost calls suddenly appeared some 40 days later..

The truth is out there.. GO get it......Non Illigitamus Carborundum

As I know for certain that we made more than 2 calls to the TCO (Have dates and names and times) Should I now get in touch and ask why they were not recorded and ask for confirmation that not all calls were recorded?
Post has been and guess what...they haven't got to me by the 16th!!!
