I think that it will be MP's and media involvement that will finally get this shambles sorted-out.

seen my MP. he's been fabulous....fingers crossed things get sorted now he's taken it on board. he was great to deal with, as aways. i hope some good comes of it......although i have the offer of legal representation now also if my MP hits the same HMRC brick wall...so after years of coping alone, things really starting to look positive x

'fraid I don't know very much about the information you get back from a SARN request (still don't understand what I got back), but if you haven't been provided with all your information you should go back to HMRC and tell them there are gaps and you need the rest of yoru information. Tell your MP that there are gaps and that you have requested the rest of the stuff. The good news is that HMRC can not recover an overpayment from you whilst you are waiting for them to send you information.

also just looked at some other questions re- SAR info, and i don't think i have all my info as i requested all correspondence in and out and call logs etc....not lots of computerized info as i can see listed by others....am i missing info?
